Tas-La is found deep in Hutt Space inside the Si'Klaata cluster This planet is very cold yet oddly close to the sun in proximity. The Hutts in this system use it as a base of power for controlling the Klatooinian people who are native to this system.

The geography of Tas-La is very much like that of many other planets in Hutt space. There are polar regions in the north and south. It has a very large rocky region which is mostly home small time mining operations. It is also has a small grass plains region where some small time food operations are conducted.

The Hutts keep a small armed garrison here to enforce their law not that law is much in the system. It is mainly composed of guns for hirer mercenaries that work for the person with the most cash. They are lead by a Hutt though he is more of a power figure than a real military mind.

This planet is also a small base for smuggling spice. Though the spice trade here is only small time. Almost ninety percent of the ships that pass threw here are carrying illegal spices on them. The Hutts also have small time mining operation here, it is only small time because of the death of so many workers. The Klatooinians that are forced to work in the mines often have a very low tolerance for the fumes that are produced when extracting the raw materials.
